Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday conveyed his heartfelt birthday wishes to former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, expressing prayers for her good health and longevity.

Sonia Gandhi, who holds the distinction of being the longest-serving president of the Congress party, has stepped back from active politics in recent years due to health concerns. Currently serving as a Rajya Sabha MP and chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party, she celebrated her 78th birthday on Monday.

“Warm greetings to Smt. Sonia Gandhi Ji on her birthday. I pray for her long life and good health,” PM Modi shared in a message on X
